Baby Jake

We have had a busy summer, just like everyone else! The greatest thing that happened this summer was having baby Jake join our Family! He was born on Sunday August 8th at 1:19pm. He weighed 6lbs14oz. and length 18.5inches. He looks nothing like is big brother Beau,He is definetly his own self! I love having a new baby in the home, it gives you a different perspective on life! He is a good eater like Beau, but likes to take his jolly old time! He is a good baby and loves to cuddle with Aaron and I. We are lucky to have the little babe in our family and are glad he is healthy and hopefully will continue to be healthy!

Maybe it's haircut time?

Yes Beau was in need of a haircut!! We were starting to do a comb-over look on him. We have trimmed his hair a little bit, but have never given him a full on haircut. I took him to a cute place called Cookie Cutters. He sat in an airplane and got to watch Baby Einsteins, so he was feeling pretty cool! He sat still and let Heather(the hairstylist) cut away! He did so good that he got a balloon and a sucker after she was done. Since he did so awesome I won't wait as long next time to get his haircut.

First time at the park!

I can already tell I am going to be spending many many of my future days outside with Beau! Every time I open the garage door or front door, Beau tries to escape outside. He is starting to get his speed up, but he is not quite there yet. When he does get there though, I will definitely be in trouble!!! Beau and I went to the park with my sisters and their kids a week ago. Beau was most interested in playing in the wood chips than anything else. At least the wood chips weren't dirt because Beau would have been filling up on dirt instead of lunch!!

Caught getting into the cookies!!

I left the room to put a load of laundry in the washer and found Beau hiding and eating a bite out of all the cookies!!! He was sure enjoying himself!!!





A couple of days later I found him in the bathroom unrolling the toilet paper!! You know you are in trouble when Beau becomes quiet, because he is usually up to NO GOOD!!

We have a one year old!!

Beau turned 1 on February 17th!! I can't believe it has been a year!! Beau is an active one year old!! He is walking everywhere and getting into everything! He especially loves to play in the toilet and unroll the toilet paper(when mom and dad aren't watching!). I remember the day he was born like it was yesterday! It was snowing like crazy that day! Aaron and I were nervous and excited at the same time. The whole labor was only 4 hours ( Beau wanted to get here quick)!! What a very special time it was for us. We felt so blessed that day and feel more and more blessed everyday because Beau is part of our family! We love him so much and can't get enough of him, even when he keeps us up all night!
